About This Event

After 2 years… Chocolate Groove returns.

While we've been hosting gatherings across the region since 2021 — from jungle dancefloors to sunset silent discos on the beach — this marks a powerful return to the mountains.

This evening is an invitation into a deep journey of movement, music, and heart-opening connection.

We begin by awakening the body through a guided movement workshop, gently opening the space and arriving together. From there, we drop into a ceremonial cacao offering, grounding into presence and intention.

As the journey unfolds, we move into an ecstatic dance "party" experience — still a no phone, no talking on the dance floor container — with space for connection off the dancefloor.

Guided by two immersive DJ sets — weaving rhythm, energy, and expression — including a live DJ + saxophone birthday celebration set.

We close with a soundbath meditation, allowing the body and nervous system to integrate, soften, and land in stillness.

A space to move, connect, release, and return to yourself — held within a conscious and intentional container.

Founder of Chocolate Groove — a cacao ecstatic dance movement rooted in Toronto and running for nearly 8 years — Jesse has been cultivating conscious dance experiences that bridge ceremony and celebration. Chocolate Groove has been bringing its energy to Costa Rica since 2021, becoming especially known for its sunset silent discos on the beach. This return marks a meaningful full-circle moment — reconnecting with a space that helped seed the culture that continues to thrive today.

Latin American artist, yoga & meditation teacher, and holistic art therapist with Mayan roots, Gaby is devoted to creating spaces for healing and self-discovery. She weaves ancestral wisdom, cacao medicine, and creative practices to guide deeply transformational, heart-centered experiences.
